SIGNAL LOST?
Fast fixes before class
No keyboard appears
Use Chrome, Edge, or Opera. Connect the keyboard directly, turn it on before granting access, close other music apps that may hold the port, then try again.
Notes are one octave off
Check the keyboard’s octave or transpose buttons and return them to zero. Some apps label middle C as C3; the MIDI number 60 is the dependable comparison.
The test tone is silent
Press “Play test tone” again, check this tab is not muted, raise system volume, and confirm the intended speakers or headphones are selected.
